Hi Having resisted the urge to say "it was the drainpipe, in the library......" my personal belief for the sourcing of good HR candidates is via recommendations from either colleagues within the profession or industry contacts from the arena that you are operating in; there tends (in my view) to be the better understanding of 'organisational fit' using this method.
I find LinkedIN a good resource, as you tend to know someone who knows someone...
To get volumes you could use a Job Board, but then you will need to have a good shortlisting and subsewuent selection excercise to determine overall suitability.
