    Hi Paul,

I was in the same position as you not so long ago myself and so I can totally sympathise, some assignments were tricky to say the least.

    What University are you at?

I graduated from University in July of this year and found it hard to secure a position in HR and so would definitely recommend you start to prepare yourself now...

    Hi Jamie

I am attending the Anglia Ruskin Uni in Cambridge. Which uni did you attend?

I am finding the 3rd year really tough, havent even started to think about my dissertation, scary stuff!!

How would you suggest I start preparing?

I attended The University of Northampton and graduated earlier this year, so I know how tough the 3rd year can be...

In terms of you dissertation I would definitely make a start!! It can be a daunting task and one that it easy to put off but if your course is structured like mine was I am guessing it has to be in next April?! Which will soon role round...

To start you need to think about a topic to base it on and then from there develop a title/hypothesis that your dissertation will be centered upon... try not to make this to broad as remember that you have a limited timescale and have to draw your findings to a conclusion. At the same time dont make it so specific that you struggle to fill the word count etc...

Once you get going, you'll sail through it!! I found making a start the hardest thing...

    Yes daunting it certainly is!!

And again yes it has to be in for next April, I just can't seem to make a start!!

Thanks for the pointers though they are greatly appreciated.

How did you go about structuring yours?

Sorry for all the questions, I guess it is just fear of the unknown!!
