Hi Tonis , your name is also very nice

I have worked for an agency for about an year and seven months and initially started as Training administrator and then moved to Recruitment . I've been a recruiter for on e year now. i know is not a lot but what i dont understand is why agencies think that i cant start work in company withinn HR environment when recruitment itself is part of HR .

    What are you doing ?

Hello, I am also 24 and looking to create a lasting career within HR. Have you though about getting the CIPD qualification, I have just achieved this and are now hoping this will aid me in my job search. x

Hi Siby1987, i have thought about it but at the moment i cant afford it .Last time a checked was about 3000 pounds a year . I am currentlly repaying my student loan and would not want to spend more on qualifications at this point. However, i would also like to get some more expereience and then add to it by getting the CIPD qualification. How long did it take you to complete the course ?Do you believe it was usefull for you ? What do you do at the moment?

Hello, Sorry I got that wrong try looking into the CPP, certificate in personnel practice and CIPD diploma, there a good way of getting a broad background to HR, I completed these in June and quite a few jobs ask for these qualifications. The CPP certificate was around 750 pounds and the diploma we managed to get funding for. A lot of people like myself through the CIPD, meant the master but it is actually the diploma, got told when I applied for a job. The course was only a year. I want to take the masters as-well but unfortunately I cant afford it either because I am also trying to pay off my student loan, What degree did you take? and when did you graduate? At moment I work with WM Morrisons in a store HR department I enjoy the job but see no room for progression within HR.
