Thread: Hello

Hi everyone - I'm new to the site too and like Pat, I am a HR professional in transition . I've been looking for a new role for about 2 weeks now, but what I've found is that 1. it is all really slow and 2. you post your CV for a vacancy and get absolutely no reply. Why does that happen? It is quite disheartening.

Any how - I enjoy watching and playing tennis. Watching my 2 boys play that is. I also have a cat who is currently keeping me company while I trawl the internet in search of new opportunities. I also love reading, so actually I have at least had an opportunity to do some of that recently and love travelling. I live in Chichester, West Sussex.

Hi Greg - it's a moose! I've had a quick look just now at the HR Jobs and I will use it from now on. Thanks it is very useful. As I said it's just the lack of response from agencies/employers when you do apply for anything, although I had one really good response who also offered me feedback. I contacted him and the feedback was really positive and helpful - guess I'll be recommending him and his company if any one asks me!

I do like the smileys section BTW.
