    360 Degree Appraisals

    Good morning,

    Does anyone have any experience of introducing 360 Degree appraisals in a small company? How has it worked? What have been the challenges?

    Hi Evelyn, I have done many 360's in the past, are you going paper based, or using some software?

    360 is useful, but colleagues need to be briefed or what to expect and how to respond. It shouldn't be seen as an opportunity to moan...

    Clear questions should be incorporated to enable a consistent approach.

    Often the feedback is used for a general discussion as part of an appraisal process, rather than a mechanism to rate performance.

    Getting employee and management buy in to anything is difficult, so you need to pitch the benefits!
